It's an issue that more and more married couples are having to go through lately. One of them is way overweight than the other and something needs to be done. It's not really the best idea to just come out and say your fat and you need to lose weight.
That could be really harsh even though it's the truth. There are many ways to handle a situation like this but you have to realize that your spouse will always be on the defensive. So just like if you have kids that you want to be healthy, you have to lead by example.
If you start to consistently workout, they will notice and you can slowly work to get them to join in. What you also need to do is make a day at the park with the entire family to play and run around. Small things like that can help everybody begin to get in shape.
Study more about healthy foods and exercise and get some fat burning workouts to do at home. The more you lead by example, the more the other people will eventually come around. If they don't then there might be bigger issues at hand that require more help.
But work hard to get your family really healthy by being really healthy yourself.
